Chapter 27 Dependency
Aaron rarely cooked since we got married.
We had maids at home, and when they were absent, I handled everything in the kitchen. He never lifted a finger, leaving me clueless about his culinary skills.
I had underestimated him, or perhaps I knew too little about him.
He served me a plate of spaghetti that smelled heavenly, handing me a fork.
"Eat."
The delicious aroma hinted that he had prepared the bolognese sauce himself. I knew it wasn't in the fridge earlier, so he must have just made it.
I took a bite, and it surpassed any restaurant's version. His cooking skills naturally outshone mine.
It was funny. I had poured my heart and soul into serving him, believing my cooking skills were top-notch. However, he put me in my place as soon as he cooked.
No wonder he occasionally refused to eat my food. I cherished those moments when he took a few bites of my creations.
Finally, my stomach felt satisfied after finishing the pasta.
He handed me a glass of water.
