IRENE'S POV The moment the full moon reached its peak, it was like fire erupted inside me. I collapsed to my knees, clutching my stomach as waves of heat and pain rolled over me. Every breath I took felt like inhaling flames, scorching my insides. My wolf howled in the back of my mind, furious and wild, demanding to be let out. “Destroy everything,” she snarled, her voice feral and unrecognizable. “Let me out, let me take control!” I gritted my teeth, trying to hold her back, but it felt like my body was being torn apart. The pressure was unbearable. My muscles trembled violently as if they were about to burst from my skin. Sweat poured down my face, and I gasped, clawing at the dirt beneath me, desperate to stay grounded. But the urge to destroy, to lash out, was growing stronger with every second. I couldn’t hold it back. I could feel myself slipping. “No,” I whispered to myself, but the voice in my head was louder. My wolf was winning. Just as I was about to lose myself completely,
