IRENE'S POV Thea’s foolish actions ignited Miles' fury like nothing else. The moment she began livestreaming the house being leveled, the full weight of the situation hit him. If this footage got out, his pack would be the laughingstock of every pack in the region. His blood boiled as the implications set in. Without thinking, Matthew's hand lashed out, harshly knocking Thea’s phone from her grasp. Obviously, the phone fell with a loud thud and the sound of it shattering against the ground echoed ominously in the air. Thea’s face contorted in shock and undisguised grievance, her eyes filling with tears that she dared not let fall. I couldn’t help myself. The words spilled from my lips before I could stop them. “Miles, it seems your new Luna is as brainless as she is beautiful. How fitting.” Miles' face darkened, his eyes flashing dangerously as he whipped around to face me. But he didn’t have the luxury of time to respond to my provocation. His attention was drawn back to the scene unf
