32 The Departure
Rachel had always been there for Calantha, and this one wasn’t going to be different.
"But you also have to take care of yourself. We need to find a way forward together."
Calantha looked up, her eyes red and puffy.
"I don't even know where to start. Everything feels so overwhelming."
Rachel nodded, understanding the weight of Calantha’s emotions.

Reluctantly, Calantha agreed, allowing Rachel to guide her downstairs to the dining room.
