Chapter 136 - The final game plan

The group walked into the living room, exhausted but relieved to be back home. Grace, Luna, and Luke were waiting for them, eager to hear about their meeting with Doctor Mathews. "So, what happened?" Grace asked as they all sat down. Jack filled them in on the details, telling them about Doctor Mathews' agreement to lead them to the Wolf's hideout. Luna's eyes widened. "That's great news! But can we trust him?" August shook his head. "I don't know. He seemed nervous, but he could just be playing us." Ramsey nodded. "We need to be careful. If he's working with Kara, we could be walking into a trap." Elsa spoke up. "I think we should go with it. We have to try and save my mother." Luke nodded in agreement. "I'm with Elsa. We can't just sit back and do nothing." Grace summarized. "Alright, so we have a plan. Doctor Mathews will lead us to the hideout, and we'll try to rescue Mera. But we need to be cautious and ready for anything." The group nodded in agreement, knowing that they
