Chapter 376
I glanced at the pile of books and just thinking about it made my arms hurt. Thankfully, there was an elevator and Alfie to help. Otherwise, I couldn't imagine the mess I'd be in trying to carry all these books down the stairs by myself.
"I'll send you the detailed task list in an email. Make sure to check it," Levi stated, his gaze fixated on me.
I looked back, perplexed.
"Did you hear me?"
I nodded.
"Then hurry to your room and get started," he ordered, leaving no room for argument.
I hadn't even sipped my coffee yet, but I set the cup down and sighed inwardly. Suddenly, I wasn't sure if taking on this task was a good or terrible idea.
"Alright, Mr. Vargas. I'll head to my room now."
Levi waved me off, and Zayn and I each picked up two stacks of books. Thankfully, he helped us open the door, or getting out would've been tricky.
After we carried the towering stacks of books back to the room, Alfie couldn't contain his astonishment. "Mr. Wright, I appreciate your hard work."
