"We've known each other for three years. You know what kind of person I am, right?" Donn asked, taking a sip of his juice.
I was caught off guard by his question but eventually nodded. After all, I did know what type of person he was.
"I'm single right now. I own five properties in Jalthoria, run a small business, my parents are healthy and open-minded, and I have no complicated relationships or close female friends," he stated matter-of-factly as if presenting a business proposal.
His piercing gaze met mine as he added, "Are you satisfied with what I have to offer?"
I immediately choked on my food. As I coughed, Donn quickly offered me a glass of water. As I took a gulp, I finally realized what he had just said, and my face flushed hot with embarrassment.
