Chapter 65: Courtney's Confession

During our free period, Chase and I headed to the front office. We found Courtney in the hallway. It looked like she was writing something done in a small book. She caught us looking as we continued to walk, and she stood up quickly. "What is she doing?" I whispered to him. He looked just as curious as I was. "Wait! Are you two going to the office?" she asked innocently, very much unlike herself. Chase and I both hesitated to answer, not knowing what to expect with her, especially today. "Um, yes. We are going to talk to the principal about yesterday," I said and nudged Chase. "Yeah, we need to go over a few things or whatever." He looked down at me, confused as to why I nudged him. I sighed. I wanted him more involved in this for some reason. I thought someone with his kind of popularity could really make some immense change at this school if he knew how to use it. "Do you want to come and say something?" I implied, wondering if her apology to me would stretch out to admitti
