Chapter 30: Baby Momma Drama

Polly had Courtney's new best friend, mainly because of all of the extra drama she was adding to the rumors and arguments that Chase and I had. She was putting in overtime to humiliate me, and Courtney loved every second of it. "Did you hear? Polly and Chase hooked up over the summer," Trina in Calculus said to some girl sitting next to her. "Well, duh, everyone knows that," the girl said. I don't know her. She definitely does not belong in this class, yet there she was. "Well, did you hear she's pregnant with Chase's baby?" Trina asked. The girl gasped, covering her mouth. I could feel their eyes drilling into the back of my head. I tried not to move, shift in my seat or do anything to indicate that I didn't feel comfortable even though I did. My mind whirled hoping this was just another rumor and not something true. I would believe this over them dating, which was saying something. I guess Chase getting someone pregnant wasn't out of the realm of possibilities, but I didn't w
