In my previous life, I found myself as the unwanted presence in my marriage to Henry Pelham. He was deeply in love with another woman, which eventually led to our broken marriage and my tragic death.
After my rebirth, I realized that the best course of action was to give up and stop caring about our marriage. So, I patiently waited for Henry to bring up the subject of our impending divorce.
But things took a strange turn. Suddenly, that very man, who had been gone for months, began returning home frequently.
"Will you believe me when I say that you will soon long for my complete disappearance from your life?" I asked.
"Stop daydreaming," he replied. "We are destined to torment each other until we die."
I sighed. I was convinced that Henry would soon meet his true soulmate, as had happened in my previous life.
The time had finally come for Henry to cross paths with her, and I thought that I was just one step away from freedom.
Yet, to my astonishment, he retorted, "Who ever said I wanted a divorce?"
He not only opposed the idea of our divorce, but he also became increasingly obsessed with me, to the extent that he abandoned his soulmate!

Nicole’s life changed drastically when she was reunited with the Riddle family. “Nothing is more important than my sister,” said her eldest brother, the domineering CEO.“You are still a student with no income. Take my credit card and spend however you like,” said her second brother, the financial expert.“I will allow no one to bully you at school,” her third brother, a top student, said.“Why did I compose this song? Because it would put a sweet smile on your face when you hear it,” her fourth brother, a talented musician, said.“You're so delicate. Let me do the dirty work for you if you want to beat someone up,” said her athletic fifth brother.Just when Nicole was barely accustomed to the pampering of her five brothers, she found herself having a fiancé, a nemesis from whom she had hacked a hundred million dollars. She needed to cancel the engagement, no matter what. But he pressed her against the door and said, “How can you run away just like that after stealing my money, you brat?”“Even if I don’t run, I don’t have the money to pay you back,” Nicole acted tough.“Oh, yeah? Then I will take you instead of money.” He then carried her on his back and took her away.

I conceal my identity and successfully help my boyfriend, Zane Holt, in establishing his business. But he views me as a stepping stone to woo the heart of another rich woman, so he sets up an elaborate trap just for me.
In public, he showers me with love and affection, making me the most envious target of all women on the Internet.
But in the shadows, Zane hires a professional team to transfer his assets and create debts for me. Then, he tricks me into signing an insurance that comes with a huge payout, with the idea of fully milking what's left of my worth.
"Liz, everyone tends to aim higher in life. Don't blame me for being realistic. You're the one to be blamed for being dumb and poor. Remember to get reborn as someone with a better background in your next lifetime!"
Zane thinks his plan will unfold smoothly, and that he'll successfully marry rich. But what he doesn't know is that the Gibson heiress, who he has been flirting with on the Internet, is actually me.
The only reason why I've stayed by his side for the past five years is so that I can conduct an examination on whether or not he has the right to become the Gibsons' son-in-law.
"The examination period is over. Zane Holt, you're officially terminated!"

The party had come to an end and the tables were in disarray. The middle aisle had been decorated and now only trampled flower petals remained.
Alice timidly walked over to Tony and watched him drink the glass of wine, said heartily, "You've already drunk quite a lot, don't drink anymore."
He turned his head to look at her with a hint of anger, growling at her with some slurred words, "None of your business, get out!"
Alice froze, but still stubbornly tried to grab the refilled glass, only to have him fling it away. Wearing high heels, she lost her weight for a moment and stumbled a few steps before stopping. Her ankle was broken and she drew in a breath of cold air, holding it back.
The people around her couldn't bear, advising her in a peaceful manner, "Tony has drunk, so don't be angry, sister-in-law. Teach him a good lesson when he is sober."

When my stepsister, Lucy Sloven, frames me for triggering her allergic reaction, my three brothers force me into a cramped, airless cellar and seal the door with chains.
I slam my fists against the cellar door, pleading with them to let me out.
My eldest brother, Aaron Caldwell, a powerful figure in the business world, snaps coldly, "I usually turn a blind eye when you bully Luce, but you knew she was allergic to seafood and still made her eat it. Are you trying to kill her? Stay in there and reflect on your actions!"
My second brother, Bruce Caldwell, a rising pop star, and my third brother, Clark Caldwell, a genius painter, scoff in unison. "Someone as vicious as you still dares to play the victim. Stay in there and suffer!"
With that, they scoop up the trembling Lucy and rush her to the hospital.
As time drags on, the oxygen dwindles. Every breath becomes a struggle until I suffocate to death inside.
Three days later, when my brothers return from the hospital with Lucy, they finally remember me.
They have no idea that I have already died from oxygen deprivation in that narrow cellar.
On my birthday, Grandpa asks me, Harper Levinson, which man from the Zink family I wish to marry. I choose the fifth and youngest son without hesitation, and the elders are thrown into shock.
After all, everyone in our circle knows that I, the eldest daughter and future heiress to the Levinson Group, am deeply in love with their eldest son, Jonathan Zink. I've always insisted on marrying no one but him.
In my previous life, I did marry Jonathan. However, in our third month, I discovered that he was cheating on me with my illegitimate younger sister, Ruth.
That day, his eyes were filled with tears as he knelt before me. "Please forgive me. It was just an accident, I swear!"
I gave in but, ultimately, Grandpa found out and sent Ruth abroad. Jonathan believed it was all my doing, and from that moment on, he hated me to the bone.
Over the next few years, the elders in the family passed away one after another. We were always beaten to the punch in the market, and our company's confidential files were stolen.
On the very day I found out about my pregnancy, I was killed in a staged car accident.
Now, reborn into this life, I choose to let them fulfill their love instead. What I don't expect is when news of my engagement is announced, he storms into the engagement party and begs me to marry him.

I marry the same man seven times, and he divorces me seven times for the same woman.
He does this so he can go on vacation with his first love as a supposedly single man while also protecting her from being the subject of scandalous gossip.
The first time we divorce, I attempt to take my own life to force him into staying. Despite being sent to the hospital in an ambulance, he didn't even bother to visit me.
The second time we divorce, I humble myself by applying to be an assistant at his company, all for the chance to see him more.
By the sixth time, I had already learned to quietly pack up my belongings and move out of his house.
At first, I was hysterical, but then I began to concede, and eventually, that grew to numb acceptance. Yet, time and again, he would remarry me on our previously agreed-upon date, only for history to repeat itself.
Finally, one day, after I hear that his first love is returning to the country again, I voluntarily hand him the divorce agreement.
Just like before, he promises to remarry me again on a certain date. But he doesn't know that this time, I'll be leaving for good.
"Ms. Keane, the test results are not very favorable. You've been diagnosed with late-stage pancreatic cancer. If you refuse treatment, you'll likely only have several weeks left to live—not even a month. Are you sure you wish to proceed without treatment? Does your husband agree to this?"
The doctor asks me over the phone.
"I'm sure… Yes, he agrees to this as well," I reply.
I gaze around the empty room after I end the call, feeling unbearably upset. I used to think the pain was just my recurring gastritis, but it's actually because of a tumor.
Sighing, I turn to gaze at the photo on the desk.
Silas Huntington, who's 18 in the photo, stares right back at me.
Even after all these years, I can still remember the day we took that photo. Snow had dusted our hair white, which made Silas ask whether this counted as us growing old together.
On my 23rd birthday, my brother, Eric Welsh, becomes the richest man in the country. During the grand birthday party he throws for the housekeeper's daughter, Fiona Dobler, he announces that she will receive the sole attention of the Welsh family.
Meanwhile, I have only a month left to live because of my faulty artificial heart, and I can't find a matching donor. While I'm being tormented physically and mentally, I video call him.
When he hears me coughing, he berates me, "Back then, you left because you were worried that I'll be a burden to you. What now? Are you regretting it because I'm rich?"
My throat feels tight as I stare intently at his unchanged expression through the screen, smiling wryly. "Eric, think of 300,000 dollars as a small amount and lend it to me."
On the other end, Eric snorts and gently assures Fiona, "It's a scam call. Don't worry."
Of course he has nothing to worry about. The healthy heart in his chest is mine.
After being evicted by the Gray family, Shannon Gray magically becomes the heiress of an affluent family.
The Gray family regrets kicking her out and wants the Jensen family to give them half its assets as compensation. Shannon sneers and uses a truth-telling talisman to expose the Gray family's true colors and the skeletons in its closet. Similarly, when a scumbag refuses to leave her alone, she easily makes him have nightmares every night.
Her cousins look down on her and think she's a disgrace, but the head of the Shaw family comes knocking on their door, looking for her. "As long as you're willing to save my daughter, I'll agree to any condition you have!"
The head of another affluent family that's never gotten along with the Jensen family shamelessly comes knocking, too. "I was a fool for acting the way I did in the past. I'll announce to the world that I'm your lackey as long as you're willing to help me!"
Later, even Shannon's cousin, who once detested her, becomes her loyal follower. "She's the best cousin ever, and I'll curse anyone who dares say a word against her!"
After everything that's happened, the Jensen family finally snaps to their senses and realizes that Shannon, whom they'd thought was a pitiful little thing, is a master at geomancy and divination.
Shannon needs to rid people and places of malevolence, save lives, and suck up to a bigwig. She can't help saying, "I'm exhausted."
Benjamin "Bigwig" Cooper takes the initiative to share her burden. "You don't need to suck up to me. I'm already yours."

My husband's little sweetheart is threatening to break up with him again. He’s drowning in misery, drinking so much that he landed in the hospital with a bleeding ulcer. Half dead, he mutters, "She’s the only one who dares to mess with me like this."
Then he grabs my hand and asks, "Honey, you’re a woman too. How do I get her to forgive me this time?"
It’s true. He’s cheated so many times, but this Vivian is the only one he actually cares about.
My phone buzzes—it’s a message from Vivian.
"Mrs. Carter! Please keep your husband in check! As a woman, don’t you have any pride left? Tell him to stop bothering me!"
I let out a sarcastic laugh and, just like always, ignore her.
On Eric’s fifth day in the hospital, he blew up my phone with calls. His mood was a mess as he yelled at me, "I’m in the hospital! Why haven’t you come to see me? Do you even care about your husband at all?"
I stayed calm. "I’m afraid if I show up, you’ll fall for me all over again."
