Cordelia slouched into her seat lazily, a hint of disdain in her eyes as she looked up. "With how useful you are, why hasn't he married you?"
Maisie's pupils contracted, her anger barely concealed on her face. This was a sore spot for her, and Cordelia's blunt mockery only made it worse.
It was all because of Archibald that Cordelia could marry Benedict!

"What are you two doing?"

Maisie turned and replaced her anger with a gentle tone. "I was just worried Cordelia might not be accustomed to flying first class, so I came to see if she needed any help."
After a brief nod from Benedict, Maisie left and he settled into his seat.
"If there's nothing else, I'll go back," Maisie said before leaving.
