Chapter 29 – Why?

Two weeks later … Cassidy felt a tingle in her leg as she tried to continue to sleep. Her body felt exhausted and wanted to sleep in for just a little longer. Beep. She groaned. What was that? Beep. She couldn't remember what she owned that made an annoying sound like that. Cassidy tried to stir, but her body was stiff and sore. Beep.
