Chapter 20 – Feeling Brave

Jacob slowly leaned in to capture Cassidy’s lips with his when he felt a hand pressed against his chest, urging him to stop. Jacob looked down at the hand and then back up to Cassidy with his brows furrowed. He watched as Cassidy slid away from him, putting distance between them.
