♡ Lauren’s POV ♡ I pulled Bella away and wiped her eyes with my hands. I looked at her, and when she looked at me, I could see the compassion in her eyes. "Will you stop staring at me like that? You make me feel like shit.” I whispered that I felt as if I were crawling in a hole. I even wanted to hide there forever. "I'm sorry.” "She said with a guilty look on her face. "Well, you can say I told you so.” I sniffled wearily as I tried to hold back my tears. "I would never fucking say that, Lauren, I really thought he would never hurt you, because WHEN I saw the way he looked at you, I could tell you meant a lot to him.” She told me. "Yeah, I mean, it used to be.” I growled, thinking about the way Magee treated me at school and how he ignored me after pretending I didn't exist. "Don't say that about Lauren. Maybe you misunderstood something? ""She said, trying to comfort me. It didn't work because all I could think about was that Magee wasn't fighting for me.
