I stared down at Minerva, who looked lost in thought and didn't bother standing up from where she sat. I became furious.
Why am I paired with her on the moon? I wished someone else would have no choice but to obey every order I would give, but I was stuck with someone as stubborn as a goat who would only think of things that benefited her.
"Minerva!" I called, my tone tinged with anger and frustration. That snapped her out of her daydream.
"Why would you shout my name that way? Don't you understand that we should maintain silence here, especially considering the possibility that we are not alone in this forest? Of course, you don't because you don't have anything upstairs and believe that everything is done by strength and brute force." She mocked, resting her back more comfortably on the tree trunk, communicating non-verbally that she wasn't ready to stand up."
"Stand up, so we can return to our parked car." I ordered.
"No, Mr. Alpha, or whoever you think you are."
