Kimberly Medilton "It's good to know that you're back , I miss you a lot" I said to Joy and she chuckled "I'm glad too because I'm damn bored" "What are you up to after this?" She asked as we walked out from the school building. I turned to see Rafael sitting in front of the car. He waved at me , I bid my goodbyes to Joy since her driver was already here too. I ran to Rafael and hugged him "How long have you been waiting for me?" I asked "10 minutes" "Sorry , should we go?" "Where do you think you're going?" I turned to see Ethan walking towards me "Who is he Maddie?" Rafe asked "Do we have a tutor, remember? I'm not getting cut from my team because of you" He said coldly as he put his hands into his pocket "Maddie?" Rafe asked "But.. We always do our tutor tomorrow and yesterday" I said looking at him and he raised his eyebrows "I can't tutor you tomorrow , I have to go to Toronto" He said "You can't change of plans this second , I booked her since a week ago" Rafe said and I don't know why this two got intense with the glares "Who are you? Her boyfriend? Well I need-" "I'll just tell Philip to replace you tomorrow. You can go to Toronto and I'll make sure that you won't be cut from the team" I said to Ethan and he looked at me with his cold eyes "Let's just go Maddie" Rafe took my arm and he opened the door for me. Ethan walked away and I sighed. He's unbelievable to be with actually Me and Rafael went to the place where he will build his house. We checked the empty place and the design that we made quite fit the surroundings. We made another design while talking at the cafe. We talked about the design and just a lot of things. Catching up a little bit too "I don't like that guy earlier" Rafe suddenly said "He's my friend" I said "Why is he that cold to you? I don't get him. I bet you never do bad things to him" Rafe said after sipping his coffee "There's a lot of people who hates me Rafe" "I don't get why they hate you while you're being this sweet and just so kind" "People judge me from the outer appearance I guess" I shrugged "So how's the preparation for London?" He asked "Good , everything is ready. Sorry for delaying our meeting , I was taking care a lot of documents" "It's okay. I understand" He smiled "Thankyou and sorry once again Rafe" "4 months left" "Actually 3" I said and he raised his eyebrows "Why 3?" "The actual school will start in 4 months but actually I got a 1 month short course with Jemima Tollan" I squealed and he looked at me disbelief "No way! That's so cool!" Jemima Tollan is a really famous painter and I just can't wait to have a course with her. It's quite expensive but my parents decided to let me because it's my dream "Will you often come back here?" Actually I thought about that and I don't think I will come back here often. Even if I come back I will go to New York. Next year my grandparents will move to New York too "Maybe yes and maybe not" I said "Well I can go there to check on you" "Will be waiting for you there" I smiled "Maddie" His face suddenly turned serious and I raised my eyebrows "I like you a lot" He said and my eyes widen "I know this kinda thing is your first time but I really like you for quite sometime right now" I froze and I didn't know what to answer "I seriously like you and I realized that people out there might like you too so I want confess before it's too late" You're already late Rafe. Ethan still got my heart "I- I-" "You don't have to answer it now Maddie" Rafe smiled and I still can't believe this Rafael just confessed his feelings for me. How can a guy like him like a girl like me? He's freakin' handsome and I'm not. After that he dropped me home , I am really really blank right now. I swore I don't know what I should say to Rafe. I don't want to hurt his feelings. I decided to take a walk to the store to buy some ice cream. I needed it. "Stupid girl" I turned to see Ethan just got out from a restaurant beside the store "Ethan? What are you doing here?" "You need a replacement of me to tutor you" He suddenly said and I raised my eyebrows "Okay.." I said "I will go somewhere for awhile so I won't be here in Seattle for quite sometime" He said and I nodded "How long?" "I don't know , one or two months or maybe more" "How about school?" I asked "Homeschooling" "Where?" I asked looking up and looked straight to his eyes "Toronto , something wrong with my grandmother's health there so I need to be with her for awhile" He said "Make sure you get a good score! When I'm back , I want to see that score" He warned and I nodded "Well take care , make sure that you drink a lot , don't drink too much soda , eat 3 times a day don't ski-" "I'm not a baby stupid girl" "Goodbye then" I smiled at him trying to cover my painful heart. He might come back before I go to London but he might not come back. "It's not a goodbye , your brain is not working well right now huh?" He hissed and I chuckled "See you again then" I patted his arm and he suddenly pulled me into a hug. My body froze when he put his arms around my body. "Make sure you get a good score! I'll be checking or I'm going to bully you , you ugly and stupid girl" He released the hug and warned with his cold tone "Promise" "Be back soon Kimberly" He walked backwards and waved at me. I waved at him awkwardly I knew that day will be the last day I see Ethan. I might be hoping that I will see him before I go to London but my feelings told me that he won't comeback soon. So.. this is a real goodbye not a see you soon Ethan
