Ethan Vecton "Let me help you" The stupid girl suddenly slipped her body and supported me again. I looked around and people were looking at us "Get lost" I pushed her and she looked around to see people looking at us "You just come with me" Jaden slipped his arm around her and pulled her away. I looked at Jaden who talked to her happily "Matilda!" I called her when I saw her passing by , she turned to me and looked at me in disgust "Fuck you" She hissed and walked again. I looked at her disbelief. Now I'm alone with my damn sprained ankle "She's a girl who has someone even though she only landed her eyes on you. You'll regret it sooner" Kylie smirked at me when she walked past me. I slang my bag and decided to walk alone without someone who help me I tried to walk like normal even though my ankle hurts like hell. I looked down and hissed. Suddenly the stupid girl slipped her body to support me again "It's okay to receive help when you can't do something alone. Ask for others to help you instead struggling all alone" She said and I rolled my eyes "Don't teach me things when you're the one who have a bad brain" I don't know why cold comments always came out when I'm with her "Sorry" She said "I already asked Philip to tutor me this week since you're injured like this. I already told Mr. Qonto about it and he's okay. You ca-" "I injured my ankle not my brain" I hissed "I know , it's an excuse for you to rest and not see me for a while. You hate it so I decided to find a replacement" The word replacement got me angry "Did I ask you to find a replacement?" I bursted angrily making her turn to me "No" "Then I'm still tutoring you" I said coldly and she gulped nervously "But you-" "You're pissing me off lately stupid girl" I bursted angrily at her. Suddenly I really want to ditch from school. I really need a fresh air and I can't go anywhere alone with my ankle sprain "Sorry" "Walked me outside" I said to her and she turned to me disbelief "Huh why?" "Stop asking just help me walk outside" I said coldly and she listened to me. As we walked outside , I gestured her to walk me outside the school "Are you going to ditch?" She asked "Don't you dar-" "I'm coming with you" She cut me , at the same time the taxi stopped in front of us. She opened the car door for me and I got in. She got in too "Alki Beach Park" I said to the taxi driver. I closed my eyes and layed on my back on the seat. I'm tired having a crap at home and I don't want to add with school crap too I decided to sleep for a while until we got there. "Ethan.. Ethan" The stupid girl patted my shoulder lightly and I opened my eyes "We're here" She said and I nodded. I took out my wallet and paid the taxi. She helped me to get out of the car. It's still morning so the sun is not that sting. We walked to the beach and sat there. I looked around the sea and just felt a little bit calm after inhaling sea breeze "Is something bothering you?" She asked and I didn't want to answer that just yet. I leaned my back to the lighthouse and just admired the view "If you have something bothering , it's okay to let it out or cry it out" She started the conversation again "My family wanted to move to New York while I can't leave Seattle" I started and she didn't let out a comment or anything. She just listened to me "I have a sister , her name is Brittany. She died 3 years ago because of Leukemia. Our hearts were broken because of her death and I felt that we're not the same anymore when she was gone" "She's a really strong girl , beautiful and never said that she's sick. She kept living her life like a normal girl. That made us keep remembering her smile and the cheery her. My mom kept being sad to be in that house where we are now. My dad saw that and wanted to move to New York since my brother Lucas and his wife already there and just to heal ourselves" "But I felt if we moved to New York , It's like leaving the most memorable place where me and my sister were created. I still want to stay here. They don't understand that I felt that she's still there. Her toys , her photos and even her room made me feel sad but at least I can still see a few memories that I've got with her" I choked and just felt so sad if we talked about my sister. I stopped and just looked at the sea hoping it would calm me down. Suddenly the stupid girl held my hand and patted it with the other hand. She didn't say anything but it's working. It calmed me down and just assuring me that everything's going to be okay even though she didn't say anything about it "You should talk to your parents heart to heart instead of get angry" She suddenly said and I did that to my parents this morning. I was more than angry when they decided to move to New York at the end of this month "They will understand you and maybe they will stay in Seattle for a little bit longer. Calm yourself down and don't let your anger take over you. All you need to do is just tell them how you feel" She said and I sighed "Don't even think about sharing this story to others or I'll do something bad to you" I warned her and said it coldly "You don't need to tell me that , I already know," She said and we stayed like that without talking. She just be there for me and it's enough to comfort me "Wait here okay?" She suddenly said , she walked away and I sighed. I kept looking at the sea "Here" She put an ice cream cone in front of me and I took it. I turned to her and she got the same as mine "It will help to lift your mood up" She smiled at me and I looked away. I started to take a small bite "What's with you and Jaden? I'm suspicious that you catch a magic spell on him" I said and I knew it was mean but it already came out from my mouth anyway "We're friends , we ditched together around 2 weeks ago" She answered "He's not a kind of guy who easily be friends with someone" "I know , he told me" She answered and that pissed me off. I decided to stay silent "Don't be alone when you're sad" She suddenly said making my head turned to her "None of your business" "It's okay to let it out and just share with someone you trust. You gan share it with Jaden because he will listen you out" Jaden my ass , I don't like the guy anymore "Just because I hung out with you once , doesn't mean you can tell me what to do from now on" I hissed and she nodded weakly "Sorry" "Let's just study here" I said and she turned to me in horror "Study? Here?" "I'll tutor you here" She sighed but still she took out her books from her bag. I started to tutor her with drawings and slowly explained it to her. She works hard and never gives up. That's what I saw in her. It's rare to see a human being like her. I saw her being nice to people who bullied her and just never be mean to them. Because of that , people didn't want to hurt her anymore because they only will end up with humiliation because she never takes revenge. Instead of revenge , she helped them. I started to get why Jaden has an interest in this girl. She's different and she's like a breath of fresh air Suddenly her phone rang and I saw her caller ID since she put it on the bench "Hello. Yeah I'm with Ethan right now. Sorry. Maybe next time? Yup. I'll make it up to you I promise. Okay bye" She ended the call with Jaden "What did he say?" I asked "I promised that we will watch a movie together but I'm here with you" She said "Go then" "No.. I want to stay here with you until you get better" She smiled at me and I looked away. I sighed big time "What if I don't want you to stay here with me?" I asked "Then I will not be in your sight but I will be at the same place to make sure that you're okay" She answered and I just felt weird "You know you're really wasting your time for me because I will never like a girl like you" "I know , I know that fact a lot" She said like she's not afraid that I will hurt her in the end "Go and try to date Jaden" I said "I don't think I can do that. I like you, why involve Jaden in this?" "Aren't you too straight forward? Girls suppose to keep their feelings" "What's the point of keeping? It's better when you express your love and let the other person know. It's useless if you keep it" She smiled as she looked at the see and I found it so weird that I went here with this girl "Repeat this again stupid" I pointed at the book again
