We just have to hope no one else steps in to make a better offer for it," Killian said as he leaned back in his chair, hands behind his head, his gaze focused on me. "I don't think they will, but if they do, we'll be forced to work faster and harder," I replied, hoping it wouldn't come to that. We just needed a little more time. "With the evidence we have, we could expose Daniel publicly," he pointed out, eager to unlea
