Alana’s point of view.
I couldn't help but smile as I looked at Alec sitting behind the wheel. Tonight was special; I had arranged a late-night dinner for us, hence our formal attire, dictated by the restaurant's dress code. Alec's comment about the prank he played on Ryan earlier stuck in my mind, raising my curiosity about her. I often heard him mention her, and her picture adorned his room alongside a photo of him and Killian. The trio seemed to be great friends, but the frequency with which he spoke about Ryan only deepened my interest in her. What had transpired between them? Had they had a falling out? And, most importantly, where was Ryan now? I hoped to learn more about her and maybe even hear fun stories from her about Alec's younger days.
As we approached our destination, Alec's curiosity got the better of him. He gazed out at the surroundings and saw tall buildings but no sign of any restaurant or food truck.
