Chapter 12 Coincidence
Sabrina's restlessness suddenly subsided.
"Really?"
"Really!" Leroy's face was full of promises.
Zoya stepped forward, "Mom, I vouch for Leroy."
Leroy looked relieved as he watched his sister.
He had not spoiled her in vain, as she turned out to be his little protector in critical moments.
Sabrina gazed at Zoya's face, feeling even more helpless.
Two mischievous little demons vouching for each other was of no use.
"Never mind, since you won't be free for long anyway. Nicole has already chosen a kindergarten for you."
"No, Mom!"
At those words, Leroy's face contorted into a frown.
If they went to school just like that, who would confront daddy?
"No nos."
The expressions of the kids varied.
They silently watched Sabrina's unquestionable figure depart, feeling incredibly frustrated.
"What should we do? I don't want to go to kindergarten!"
Leroy covered his face, looking at Kevin.
Leaning against Teresa, Zoya murmured, "I don't like kindergarten either."
"At our age, going to kindergarten isn't wrong. Let's treat it as a change of scenery."
Yusuf gently persuaded his siblings.
Although he didn't want to go to kindergarten either, he didn't react as strongly as Leroy and Zoya.
Blair Creations.
"Travis, I've gathered some information. Would you like to hear it?"
Mark smiled mischievously, deliberately keeping Travis in suspense.
Upon a single glance from Travis, a chilling aura instantly permeated the entire room.
Unable to withstand the wrath of Travis, Mark spoke directly.
"Tiana also has the surname Navarro."
Mark produced a photograph from his pocket and handed it to Travis.
"This is a picture of Sabrina Navarro."
Travis had little recollection of that night, with Sabrina Navarro's visage remaining quite blurry in his memory.
Yet, gazing at the radiant smile on the face in the photograph, which belonged to Tiana from the previous night, Travis felt a slight astonishment in his core.
"Do you believe that such a remarkable coincidence occur in this world?"
"Their appearances are strikingly identical."
Given that they had witnessed Sabrina Navarro's deceased body, how could someone who had passed away possibly return to the realm of the living?
Furrowing his brow, Travis suddenly recalled the familiar sense of strangeness he had experienced when encountering Tiana.
There must be some connection between Tiana Navarro and Sabrina Navarro.
If these two individuals were indeed one and the same, how could the events of the past be explained?
This left both Mark and Travis utterly perplexed.
At that very moment, a voice from outside the door interrupted their contemplation.
"Georgia, you cannot enter."
Danny blocked her path, his expression flustered.
Georgia smiled awkwardly.
"Danny, I have an urgent matter to discuss with Travis. Please allow me to enter."
She appeared pale, with a hint of redness beneath her eyes.
Danny was torn, but he dared not defy Travis's orders.
"Please, Danny. Just this once, as an exception,"
Georgia implored, her plea intensifying.
While Danny struggled to make a decision, the office door suddenly swung open from within.
"Danny, let her in," Mark stood with folded arms, leisurely assessing Georgia.
Danny lowered his head in silence, reducing his presence.
Georgia raised her head, offering a grateful thanks to Mark.
"Thanks, Mark."
"No need, come in," Mark raised an eyebrow.
Georgia swiftly entered the office, scanning her surroundings to locate Travis's figure.
"Travis," Georgia called out towards the figure by the window, her voice sugary.
Travis furrowed his brows as he glanced at Georgia, showing impatience.
He turned his gaze away, addressing Mark with displeasure.
"Who permitted you to bring her in?"
Georgia's expression stiffened, but she quickly concealed her emotions.
Her face betrayed a hint of sorrow, as if on the verge of tears.
Mark glanced at his good friend, then looked at Georgia's expression.
He jokingly said, "Look how you've almost made the lady cry. You mustn't treat her this way."
Travis averted his gaze, feigning ignorance of his friend's jest.
"I have made it clear, I do not wish to see you again."
Travis's tone was icy, refusing to spare Georgia even a glance.
His patience with this woman had reached its limit.
Setting aside her connection with Sabrina Navarro, Georgia possessed no distinctive qualities. Though he had extended some help to the Navarro family over the years out of consideration for Sabrina, ever since Navarro Creations was snatched by the duo, their ambitions had become too apparent.
Georgia's fair complexion paled, her eyes filled with fear.
She wore a look of grievance, as if she wished to speak but could not.
Mark, aware to some extent of the events of the past, looked down upon Georgia.
Yet this did not deter him from joining in the commotion.
"Georgia, what brings you here to see Travis?"
Georgia kept her head low, unable to meet Travis's gaze.
"Thank you for helping Navarro Creations, Travis. I wish to express my gratitude."
Georgia plucked up courage, deliberately drawing near Travis.
If that woman could seduce Travis, then she could do so too!
Having meticulously adorned herself and exuding a sweet perfume, Georgia approached Travis.
Upon catching a whiff of the scent, Travis felt an instinctive repulsion.
His lips tightly pursed, expressing displeasure, "Leave."
"Travis..."
Georgia paled, still feeling unwilling to leave.
Why could that woman approach, but she could not!
She was the one who had known Travis earlier!
Georgia bit her lip, appearing even more pitiful.
Her determination evident as she once again moved closer to Travis, lifting her head to reveal a face filled with sorrow.
"Escort her out. I do not wish to see her in the company again. Otherwise, you will all be dismissed," Travis ordered coldly to Danny.
Danny's legs turned weak with fear, immediately calling the security guards to forcibly remove Georgia.
Reluctant as she was, Georgia was left with no choice but to depart.
As she was escorted out by the guards, she gazed up at the building and seethed with anger.
It's all that woman's fault!
