Chapter 11 Troublesome

"What do you mean?" Georgia looked at Sabrina warily. "This woman is getting close to Travis, blocking my way. How is this not related?" "Your previous order only involved seducing Travis, not investigating people." Georgia's face stiffened. "Name your price." She knew that the other party worked for money. As long as the money was right, everything was negotiable. Sabrina smiled, slowly extending three fingers. "Three hundred thousand? Deal." Georgia took out a check from her bag, ready to write it to Sabrina. Sabrina stopped her. Looking at Georgia's puzzled expression, Sabrina said, "It's three million." "What?" Georgia's face instantly turned extremely fierce. Three million? Why didn't she just rob her? This was an outrageous price! Sabrina leaned back in her chair, nonchalantly saying, "I won't force." Seeing Sabrina's attitude, Georgia hesitated a bit more. "You get what you pay for, our service will definitely be worth the price." Sabrina said. "I'll pay." Georgia gritted her teeth, feeling her heart bleeding as she wrote the check. Blair Creations. Travis stood by the window, watching the bustling scene below. But in his mind, he saw the face of the woman from last night. He felt a familiar sensation from that woman. Mark pushed the door open and walked up to him. Travis turned around, his gaze falling on Mark. "No results. Someone is blocking our investigation of that woman. Her information is well-hidden." Travis's brows furrowed. Her appearance was too strange, too abnormal. "Do you think she might be a fervent admirer of yours?" Mark joked. Travis looked at Mark with his deep eyes. Mark smiled awkwardly. Based on their long friendship, he could tell that Travis had just been mocking him. The office door swung open once more. Danny rushed in, clutching a folder with a look of panic on his face. "Something terrible has happened." "Danny, you've been following Travis for years, yet you still react so dramatically." Mark was startled, turning to give Danny a resentful look. "The company's market value plummeted by thirty percent in just half an hour." He didn't want to overreact, but this was quite sudden! "Is that all?" Mark was nonchalant. While the turbulence was significant, it was a trivial issue for Travis. "Not quite." Danny sighed and continued, "Some products suddenly emerged in the market, occupying a significant share." "These products bear a striking resemblance to the ones we are currently developing." Mark raised an eyebrow, eyes widening in astonishment. The products under development by Blair Creations were an absolute secret. Could it be that there was a mole within Blair Creations? "Travis..." Danny's voice trembled. Travis's gaze darkened, "Investigate immediately." "Yes." Danny hurried away, fearing his wrath. "Travis, have you recently offended someone?" Mark couldn't think of any other reason. Travis remained serious, ignoring Mark. As he opened his computer to retrieve data related to the products, the screen suddenly went black. "Travis, what's wrong?" As the computer lit up again, it displayed a jumble of code, casting a blue hue on their faces. Travis's fingers danced swiftly on the keyboard. The opponent's speed was equally impressive, and Travis hadn't faced such a formidable adversary in a long time. Mark watched with keen interest from the sidelines. Suddenly, he had a bold idea. As Travis engaged in a fierce battle with the opponent, the latter's response suddenly ceased. Travis's eyebrows arched, a hint of intense interest in his eyes. With so much happening simultaneously, just as Mark had suggested, it couldn't be a mere coincidence. "Badass daddy! Do you remember it, Travis?" "Could it be that the debts from your past romantic escapades?" After saying this, Mark nodded approvingly, fully convinced of his theory. Travis's eyes flickered with contemplation. As the tension rose, Mark quietly found an excuse to slip away. He hoped Travis's employees could weather the storm. "Call for a meeting." Travis picked up the internal phone on the desk, instructing Danny. "Yes." Danny wasted no time. Within ten minutes, all senior executives of Blair Creations gathered in the top-floor office. "Travis, the situation was sudden, and our response measures have been quite effective." Danny timidly spoke up, defending the person responsible for the incident. Travis's face darkened, causing Danny to lower his head in fear. "I misspoke, Travis. The efforts of the technical department were insufficient!" Danny quickly corrected himself. Travis let out a cold snort, his icy gaze sweeping across the entire meeting room, causing the senior executives to sweat nervously. "Resolve the stock market issue immediately. The technical department must thoroughly investigate the confidential leakage of our new products, or you all can consider yourselves fired." Travis's statement caused the head of the technical department to collapse onto his chair. ... Leroy darted behind the curtains and begged, "Mom, have some mercy!" The computer screen on the desk still displayed the blue page. Zoya knelt by the door, silently worrying for her older brother. Caught red-handed for causing trouble, it seemed like a tough day ahead for Leroy. "Leroy, how many times have I told you not to be reckless?" Sabrina, looking at the human-shaped lump behind the curtain, felt somewhat helpless. These kids really didn't give her a moment's peace, especially Leroy and Zoya, who were simply little troublemakers. "I remember, Mother, I won't dare do it again." Leroy revealed a pair of watery eyes from behind the curtain, looking pitifully at Sabrina.
