421: DECISIONS AND DISCUSSIONS
ARIEL'S POV
Luke walked away; frustration was evident in his every step, and I felt a pang of concern. It was clear that he wasn't entirely comfortable with the idea of going to church, and I couldn't blame him. After all, we both had our reasons for being skeptical about different things.
But despite his reluctance, I knew that this was something we needed to do. We had faced countless challenges together, and somehow, against all odds, we had made it through. It felt only right to show our gratitude, even if it meant stepping out of our comfort zones.
Turning back towards the mansion, I made my way inside, where Janice was still seated at the kitchen table, her expression curious as she watched Luke and I return.
"Is everything okay?" she asked, sensing the tension in the air.
I offered her a reassuring smile, trying my best to hide my own uncertainty. "Yes, everything's fine. But we have some plans for today," I replied, hoping she wouldn't protest.
