I couldn't help but laugh at Luke's comment. "Well, I guess that's one way to start the day," I quipped, giving him a playful nudge.
Luke grinned, wrapping an arm around my waist. "Definitely better than a cold shower," he joked, earning a chuckle from me.
I nodded in agreement, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek. "Agreed. I think I could get used to this whole morning shower routine," I admitted with a grin.
Luke raised an eyebrow suggestively. "Oh really? Well, I'll make sure to pencil it into our daily schedule then," he teased, causing me to laugh.
When we finished drying off and got dressed, I couldn't shake the feeling of contentment that lingered between us. It was moments like these, the simple moments of laughter and affection, that made me fall in love with Luke all over again.
