Chapter 7 I Don't Like You
Both Emilio and Debra were very embarrassed.
Emilio felt particularly ashamed.
Natalie smiled at them and turned away.
"Mr. Hussain, what should we do?" Debra was in a hurry. She stamped her feet.
"Don't worry." Emilio explained, "Kenneth has never been in a relationship, so he doesn't know how to communicate with girls. You have to be patient."
"But he ignored me."
Emilio comforted, "Don't worry. Now you go downstairs and wait for me. I have my own way."
"Okay. It's all up to you. When I marry Kenneth in the future, I will never forget you."
Emilio laughed, "Okay. Just rest assured."
Debra then left.
Emilio walked up to Natalie and said, "Why didn't you tell me just now that it was Kenneth's meaning, and you got yourself scolded. It wasn't worth it. Don't you think so?"
"You're kidding. Aren't we secretaries used to take blames?" Natalie turned on the computer.
"Natalie, you have been in the company for two or three years. You stay with Kenneth every day, and you can't even date anyone." Emilio smiled meaningfully, "How about I introduce a man for you? He's a young talent. You will definitely be satisfied."
"Thank you for your kindness. I don't want to fall in love." Natalie refused.
Love couldn't be used as money.
"Natalie, do you want to marry Kenneth?" Emilio suddenly became very serious. "Listen up, it's impossible for a woman like you to marry into our Hussain family!"
Natalie scratched her head.
In fact, she had already married into the family.
"Look at yourself in the mirror! Yes, you are not bad-looking. But the woman Kenneth is going to marry must be a rich and noble lady, not from someone from a small town like you. You'd better give up your thoughts about Kenneth, or I'll find someone to kill you!" said Emilio sternly.
Natalie yawned, looked at Emilio lazily and said, "I've already recorded it. If something happens to me one day, I'll say you ask someone to do it."
She was not afraid to offend Emilio.
She knew very well about the Hussain family.
Kenneth didn't treat Emilio as his father.
Back then, Emilio abandoned his wife and son for the sake of his mistress, which provoked much discussion and made Kenneth hate him very much.
So Natalie was never polite to him.
The answer evaded Emilio.
"I have to work. If I can't finish it, I can't get off work. In that case, I will be very grumpy. Would you please don't bother me?" Natalie smiled, but she looked cold.
Emilio rolled his eyes and had an idea. He asked, "Natalie, what do you think if I go to your mother and let her know that you seduced Kenneth?"
When it came to her mother,
Natalie had a headache.
"What do you want?" Natalie frowned.
"Debra wants to have dinner with Kenneth. You arrange it." Emilio thought he had got something on Natalie. "When it's done, I won't treat you badly."
Natalie sneered, "Got it."
Emilio left proudly.
Natalie rubbed between her eyebrows.
She really didn't want Emilio to disturb her mother.
If her mother knew it,
she would only urge her to get married quickly.
But she didn't want her mother to know she was married.
In a word, it didn't hurt to have a meal.
Therefore, she agreed.
Natalie accepted Debra's friend application.
Debra was very happy. She asked, "What does Kenneth like to eat?"
Natalie texted back, "He likes to dine in the Savory Yard."
"Thank you! Take him here tonight."
Debra transferred five thousand dollars to Natalie after saying that.
Natalie didn't accept it.
——
After work.
Natalie walked into the office.
Kenneth stood up and asked, "What's the matter?"
"What shall we have for dinner?" Natalie asked.
It was off work, so it was okay to say something private.
Kenneth asked, "What would you like?"
"I want to go to the Savory Yard." Natalie often went there to dine with Kenneth.
She liked it, too.
"Then let's go." Kenneth agreed gently.
"Okay." Natalie secretly breathed a sigh of relief, "I'll go out first and wait for you at the next intersection of the company."
After saying that, without waiting for Kenneth to react, Natalie turned away.
Kenneth frowned. Did she have to avoid suspicion like this?
He walked out.
Then he drove the car from the garage to the road and picked up Natalie at the next intersection.
The Savory Yard was not far from the company.
It was ten minutes' drive.
Kenneth pulled up the car and the two get out together.
"Hello, Mr. Hussain." The waiter was very enthusiastic.
The Savory Yard was owned by a friend of Kenneth. It was said that this friend wore a string of Buddha beads on his wrist all the year round, and the beads were obtained by his wife, who had passed away, after walking up thousands of steps.
But at that time, that friend didn't cherish his wife. Now he regretted it.
From then on, he became a believer in the Buddha.
But his wife was already dead. What was the use of doing this?
"Hmm." Kenneth nodded slightly.
"The private room has always been reserved for you. Please come with me." The waiter took Kenneth and Natalie there.
This private room was especially reserved for Kenneth.
No matter how busy the restaurant was, this private room would not be used.
Kenneth and Natalie walked in.
No sooner had they taken their seats than Debra came in.
"Mr. Hussain, what a coincidence!" Debra was elated and extremely shy when she saw Kenneth's handsome and indifferent face, "I also came here for dinner, but they said I need reserve in advance. Mr. Hussain, do you mind if I sit with you?"
Kenneth didn't look good.
"Mr. Hussain, I have a stomachache." Natalie suddenly covered her stomach, "I can't accompany you to dinner. Miss Walsh happens to be here, so let her accompany you. I'll go first."
Natalie left the room with her bag.
She didn't even dare to look Kenneth in the eye.
After all, her acting skills were very poor.
He would definitely see through her.
Anyway, she had done what Debra said.
She walked out of the Savory Yard.
Suddenly, she was in trance.
It was the first day she and Kenneth got their marriage certificate, but she asked her husband to dine with another woman who had a crush on him.
Forget it. Husband? Well, nominally.
She didn't need to care.
She stopped a taxi and left.
In the private room.
Debra was very positive, "Mr. Hussain, please take a seat."
Kenneth asked her, "Did you threaten her?"
"What?!" Debra paused for a while, "Do you mean Natalie? I didn't threaten her. She promised to help me voluntarily. I gave her 5,000 dollars, and she accepted it."
Kenneth clenched his fists. He said to himself, "Natalie, you're really something."
She sold him for 5,000 dollars.
"Mr. Hussain, let's sit down and eat and talk." Debra's eyes were full of expectation.
"Miss Walsh, I'll repeat it. I'll only talk to your grandfather. And don't waste your time. I don't like you."
