CHAPTER 99 WINTER WONDERLAND

The first snow was falling during the night and in the morning, the neighborhood was covered in a bright white layer. Jenna awoke to the sound of wind rustling in the trees and thick flakes falling softly outside of the window of their bedroom. She looked at them twirling and twirling as they fell on the ground, not in haste but as if each snowflake had its own destination on earth to reach.
