CHAPTER 35 CHRISTMAS COUNTDOWN
The post-Thanksgiving feeling still remained the same as a bitter-sweet taste as Jenna returned to her books. The feelings of the family conflicts intersected with Ryan’s constant support, which gave her a cocktail of emotions that she was still unable to sift through. The Berkeley campus especially in November when it changed to December had an atmosphere that was charged and beautiful with trees and buildings decorated with lights.
Jenna was one of those students who got caught up with the final exams and preparation for the end of the year holidays. Her dorm room where she used to study and concentrate only on her academics now had a small Christmas tree and bulbs. Lily had been adamant in her choice of the decorations stating that they were needed since the group was being forced to work during the finals season.
