Chapter 3 Surrender the Property Rights

MacIntyre suddenly lunged forward. Marissa was so startled that she immediately shouted, “How dare you!! You worthless piece of trash, you’ve got some nerve! I guess you don’t want to live anymore!” Marissa tried to kick MacIntyre in the groin, but he easily grabbed her ankle. This position made MacIntyre blush and his heart race. “Let go!” Marissa struggled fiercely, lost her balance, and fell headfirst onto the sofa. MacIntyre calmly started undressing, catching Marissa off guard. “Milu!!” She shouted loudly, but there was no response, only a cold smile on MacIntyre’s face. Marissa tried to get up and run, but MacIntyre grabbed her by the hair and pushed her back down. “Running away? Are you even afraid of a worthless person like me?” Maybe it was years of pent-up frustration, but MacIntyre didn’t hold back anymore. He pounced on Marissa. Amid Marissa’s screams and struggles, MacIntyre became more beastly, pouring out all his anger and resentment, becoming increasingly rough. Finally, with a sound of satisfaction, Marissa stopped struggling and lay there limply, not moving at all. “Bastard, animal!” Marissa cursed, wishing she could kill him right now. But in MacIntyre’s ears, her voice sounded more like she was whining and enticing him. In an instant, he felt another surge of interest. Soon, MacIntyre stood up again, calming his agitated mind, and looked at the desperate Marissa with some pity. At this moment, Marissa was as soft as a rag doll, crying so much that the whole sofa was wet. MacIntyre originally wanted to replay the suffering he endured on them, but now looking at Marissa in front of him, he felt somewhat satisfied. It seemed that this kind of rough revenge was the most effective. “Marissa, I can spare your life if you hand over the deed and all property rights of this estate.” “However, if I find out you had a hand in my father’s death, I won’t let you go. You will suffer even more than you do now.” Marissa gritted her teeth, “I won’t let you get away with this. I will kill you!” MacIntyre downed a glass of red wine and glanced at Marissa, “I’m looking forward to that. Better kill me quickly, I’ll be waiting!” With that, MacIntyre left the estate without looking back. It took Marissa a long time to barely sit up, the searing pain making her involuntarily raise the corners of her mouth. Only then did she realize that her once fair skin was marked with scratches, and there were countless red and swollen bruises from being beaten. All these years, Marissa had been unfulfilled in her desires, but no one had humiliated her like this before. This was unforgivable. “MacIntyre, you forced me to do this!” Marissa made up her mind to make MacIntyre pay. However, the news that MacIntyre was still alive had to be quickly told to Selena, because he would definitely come for her next. As her sister, Marissa didn’t want Selena to suffer the same fate. On the phone, Selena didn’t believe it at all. “Sis, have you been playing too hard lately? How could someone survive falling from such a high cliff? Are you sure it’s not a nightmare?” “I’m not joking with you. Not only is he alive, but all his injuries are healed, and he’s not the same person as before.” Selena trusted Marissa a lot. Without Marissa, she would have starved to death long ago. However, in just three days, how could MacIntyre have changed so much? “You must be drunk. Even if he’s alive, he’s just a worthless person. It’s so easy for me to kill him.” Marissa didn’t dare tell Selena about the humiliation she suffered. Being defiled by someone she looked down upon was the greatest shame. “Believe it or not, just be careful. He’s a madman, who knows what he’ll do.” “Got it, the party is about to start. We’ll talk when I get back. The guests tonight are important figures that will benefit our family business.” Selena didn’t take Marissa’s words to heart and even mocked her for having delusions. Marissa couldn’t sit around waiting; she had to kill MacIntyre quickly. “Milu!” The maid Milu came downstairs. She had been there all along. It wasn’t Milu’s fault for not coming out to save her; Marissa had warned her long ago that if a man came to the house, she was only to clean and not to ask questions. But she didn’t expect the man she was with today was MacIntyre. Milu was cleaning and could only hear sounds, so she wouldn’t interfere. Besides, Marissa seemed to be enjoying herself at the time. “Milu, you failed last time, MacIntyre is still alive. You must kill him to prove your worth.” Milu frowned but still nodded in agreement. She was just a maid and knew that these sisters were ruthless. If she didn’t want to die, she had to obey. At this time, MacIntyre went alone to Putao Garden. The new wine cellar was beautifully built, but the one where his father was buried had become a dump. MacIntyre sighed. No one knew his father was buried here. It was already good that it was still intact. Unexpectedly, there were some scattered petals on the ground, looking freshly picked. Did someone come by? Those sisters couldn’t have done it. Could it be Foster? Foster was his father’s neighbor, and they grew up playing together. The Gomez estate was built with their joint investment. Later, Foster went to the city to start a company. After MacIntyre’s father had an accident, Foster claimed bankruptcy and withdrew his shares, taking most of the estate’s funds. But it was all a scheme. In reality, his company not only didn’t go bankrupt but became the industry leader. It was rumored that he had colluded with Marissa, and perhaps his father’s death was also related to him. “Dad, I’m here. It’s a pity we can’t meet in heaven.” MacIntyre laughed at himself, “Don’t worry, since God didn’t let me die, I’ll live well.” “Those sisters and Foster, none of them will escape. I swear!” “Ha, such big talk. Just hope you’re enough to fill their teeth.” Suddenly, someone sneered behind him. MacIntyre turned to see several strangers. In front stood a young woman, not tall but full of presence, clearly not someone to be messed with. “Who are you?” “Don’t ask what you shouldn’t.” “This is my home…” “Hah, you dare call it that. Let me ask you, were Marissa and that Selena brought into the estate by you?” Tia’s cold eyes were full of disdain and mockery, making MacIntyre clench his fists in anger. “Tia, you promised me you wouldn’t act recklessly.” An elderly gentleman beside her immediately apologized to MacIntyre, “Don’t mind her, she’s spoiled by me. I’ll discipline her when we get back.” This old man was Heatonmon, courteous but not an easy person. However, seeing the faint blue glow in MacIntyre’s eyes, Heaton knew he wasn’t as simple as he seemed. Especially sensing the murderous aura around him, it appeared he was one in a million, a chosen one.
