Laura I was thinking about what Liam Miller meant by 'it is way more than that' when I heard a knock on the door. "Come in," I said and Liam's sister came in, I sat up immediately as she took her seat at the edge of the bed. "How are you feeling?" she asked and I nodded "I'm fine," "I have to admit, I'm very surprised, I was not expecting to see you here," "Me neither," "I'm sorry about my brother's attitude, believe me, he is way nicer than that," she said and I smiled. There was silence for a while, we both stared at things that seemed to be interesting, I wanted her to do me a favor but I didn't know how to tell her, after much thought, I decided to just ask her. "Um, I'd like to ask a favor from you," I said and she sat up. "Sure, tell me," she said moving in closer. "Please don't tell your brother about how we met," I said. "Really? Why?" she asked. "Nothing, I just don't want him to know, I'm in NYC for a fresh start and I don't want to have to deal with the bad memories from Canada," I said sighing as she nodded. "I understand, I won't tell him," she said smiling softly. "Oh thank you very much," "You're welcome but you'll also have to do me a favor," "I will," I said immediately and she chuckled. "Be my friend, I'm here now and I don't know anyone, so it'll be nice to have someone to talk to," "I'll be your friend," I said and she smiled, one look at her, and I started laughing. "Why are you laughing?" she asked giggling. "I just realized, I don't even know your name," I said laughing harder. "My name is Isabella," she said smiling. We chatted for a while before she decided to leave me to rest. I left the room later in the evening to join Maria in the kitchen. "You should be resting Laura, you should not be here," Maria said sounding worried. "Don't worry, I'm just here to keep you company," I said and she nodded. We talked about some things while she prepared dinner, we were talking about Tracy when Matilda walked into the kitchen. "The boss is asking for you," she said and I looked at Maria and then back at her. "Where is he?" I asked gruffly. "In his room," she said. "Okay, thanks," I said. I made my way to Liam's room. I knocked on his door and I was told to come in, I walked in slowly and then stopped in front of his bed. "You called for me Sir," I said looking straight at him, he had changed into another cloth, a black sweatshirt, and black jeans, I had to admit to myself that he was looking dashing and dangerously hot. "Staring is rude you know?" he said making me blink fast, I felt embarrassed, not only because he caught me staring but also because I would've said the same thing to someone staring at me. "Well I have a business event in Mexico and I'll be there for three days, I want you to come with me, you'll be helping me with some things while I'm there," he said and I frowned. "I'll be paying you to double what you earn per hour," he said and my eyes widened, I started calculating and concluded immediately. "Okay, Sir," "Good," he said looking satisfied. "Here," he said as he handed me a bunch of shopping bags. "There might be a dinner party and you'd have to dress well," he said and I nodded. "You can leave," he said dismissing me, I took the bags to my room and checked what was inside, I was surprised to see three expensive dresses in one bag and three expensive shoes in the other. "Wow! this is crazy," I said as I tried the heels on, they were exactly my size. "I'll just treat this as a paid vacation," I said already imagining myself enjoying myself in Mexico, unfortunately, 82 hours later I was on phone with Tracy complaining instead of enjoying. "You don't get it, Tracy, I'm supposed to be enjoying not working my back off," I said and she laughed. "Stop laughing at me!" I said and she stopped. "Seriously, you are lucky girl, you are working for Liam Miller, like Liam Miller, one of the hottest CEO ever," she said and I rolled my eyes, not like she could see me. "Yes, I know, you've not ceased to remind me that since you found out," "What happened?" "I've been working like a maid these past days Tracy, Laura get me a cup of coffee, Laura I don't like toiletries here get me something else, Laura I don't like this hotel's lunch get me something else, Laura I don't like the towel here get me another one, Laura get me a bubble gum, and when we go for dinner, I don't like the dessert get me something else, Laura get me another type of champagne, look Tracy I'm tired of his demands," "Well, he is paying you double of what you earn normally," "Wait, are you supporting him or your best friend?" I asked and she laughed. "Come on, of course, I'm supporting you my best friend," she said and I sighed. "I can't wait to go back, I miss Maria and Isabella, I miss Mrs. Miller too," "Is it that bad?" Tracy asked making me sigh again. "To be sincere I don't know, I remember when I thought he was nice but you see, Liam Miller is like a bulb that goes on and off, one minute he is nice the next he is acting like the devil himself, it doesn't help that he is hot and handsome," I said and I slapped myself mentally after. "Laura," "Yes?" "Did you just say it doesn't help that he is hot and handsome?" Tracy asked but I kept mute. "Goodness, you've been entertaining thoughts about your boss," "Shut up!" I said knowing full well she won't. "You... You find Liam Miller hot and handsome," she said and I groaned. "Tell me, when did it start?" "I don't...." "Tell me the truth, Laura," "I don't know, I just find myself reacting to him somehow," "Wow! Tell me..." "Hold on Tracy," I said cutting her off, I listened well and I heard someone knock on the door, I opened the door to see one of the hotel attendants at the door. "Mr. Miller said you should dress up and meet him in 20 minutes," she said and I thanked her. "You heard that Tracy, I gotta go," I said handing up before she could say anything, this time I'm grateful that Liam Miller saved me from Tracy's endless question.
