CHAPTER 28: ASKING FORGIVENESS
Drakon went back home from training and decided to ask Shirley for forgiveness, and as he got back home, he went straight to her room; he knocked, hoping she wouldn't send him away.
The door finally opened, and Nyx poked her head out.
"Alpha," She said, startled. "Luna is not here. She went for a walk".
"Okay, NYX,"
After searching the mansion, he turned to walk to the training ground but couldn't find her there. Drakon found her in the garden, her back to him; Shirley stood motionless, and the wind blew her hair around her face. The scent of blooming jasmine filled the air, mixing with her familiar scent. Drakon hesitated, his heart heavy with regret and sorrow.
“Shirley,” he called softly, his voice almost a whisper.
She stiffened but didn't turn to face him. He took a deep breath and walked closer, his footsteps slow and gentle.
“Shirley, I need to talk to you,” he said, his tone pleading.
She remained silent, her shoulders tense. Drakon felt a pang of guilt. He had hurt her
