Benedict glanced at Cordelia with a cold, expectant gaze. "I still need to discuss agency matters with Mr. Lucian. You can't go back yet."
"Fine," Cordelia muttered unwillingly.
As Cordelia stepped into the elevator, her phone buzzed.
It was a message from Benedict. [Come to my room. You need to apply the ointment for me.]
Cordelia had actually forgotten about that.
As the elevator reached the floor, the man in front of her had already gone.
"Cordelia, here we are." Maisie reminded her.
Cordelia lazily nodded. "I have some personal matters to attend to with Mr. Radcliffe. You two go on ahead."
They knew exactly what personal matters meant between a husband and a wife.
Maisie's expression flickered briefly, but she didn't say anything. She just smiled and nodded as the elevator doors closed.
The elevator continued its ascent.
Cordelia looked up at Benedict's stern face. "You don't mind, do you?"
"Mind what?" Benedict replied, as cold as an iceberg.
