"Stacey!" Conor's shout echoed from downstairs.
Stacey squinted, her voice shaky, "Conor? Please, help me!"
"Hold on, I'm on my way up!" Conor's voice was as deep as the sea, full of resolve.
"Thank you!" Stacey felt a rush of relief.
Suddenly, the idea of leaping off the balcony seemed unnecessary.
Instead, she lay flat on the balcony, counting the number of bodyguards Conor had brought.
