I couldn't quite understand why I was nervous, but ever since the train pulled up smack in front of the Pack building, my heart had begun to pound so loudly in my chest that I felt as though it would burst. Baron had vaguely mentioned something about the fact that the children were with his aunt and that they were asleep or something along those lines. He had also said that I had some duties to attend to. All I could feel was a strange fear that took over me until Lucia's voice pierced through my mind.
“Would you mind? I feel nervous, and I think it's from you.”
I found myself laughing out loud, and Borrow raised his head, looking at me as though I had grown a second one. He heard that, I knew, which was why his face soon began to stretch into a smile, causing me to laugh a little longer.
