Olivia's POV
I couldn't believe Damien's words. "Why are you so quick to judge me? Without hearing me out?!" His accusatory tone hung in the air, cutting through the fragile remnants of our relationship. I felt a chill run down my spine, a stark realization that the foundation I had built in my mind was nothing but a mirage.
"Why, Damien?" I pleaded, my voice barely above a whisper. "I've been trying for sevn years. Seven years of us, or so I thought. Can't you see what this means to me?"
