"Please try to understand, Zen." Caitlin’s voice trembled as she began. "I won't be a part of this."
"I will not argue long distance with you. Come to me now." Zendedari’s command was sharp, his voice cold and unwavering.
Caitlin clutched at an overhead tree branch, seeking strength. Zen’s lack of emotion frightened her far more than any anger could have. Beneath his calm demeanor, she sensed a power, a total confidence that chilled her.
"I won’t come back. I can’t," Caitlin insisted, her voice shaking. "Just live your life, Zen. You have it back now."
