I didn't say a word. No, I couldn't. All I could do was stare at him in silence, cold shivers running down my backbone as my body pressed against his. His eyes— an enticing shade of green seemed to match the night. Something inside of them beckoned to me, drawing me in a little more.
Inch by inch, like it had a string pulling around my neck. A warm feeling blossomed in my stomach before it graduated into fluttering butterflies, accompanied by a tint of nervousness and confusion.
What to do? It wasn't every day I got to sit down on a man and stay frozen. And in all these seconds, my eyes remained glued to his. Time had stilled, and the forest we were surrounded by had chosen silence.
His hands on mine were warm, welcoming. The kind of feeling I'd call home. My legs twitched, itching to tighten, so I just felt a little more of that warmth.
