CHAPTER ONE HUNDRED AND FIFTEEN BRING HIM BACK TO ME
Daphne's POV
The tears still flowed, but there was a strange sense of peace that settled over me, like a warm blanket on a cold night.
I didn’t know what would happen, but I had to believe that my plea had been heard, that my son would be returned to me.
“Thank you,” I whispered, my voice barely audible. “Thank you for listening.”
As I sat there, alone in the darkness, the storm seemed to quiet, the lightning fading into the distance.
The moon shone down on me, its light soft and gentle, and I felt a flicker of hope ignite in my heart.
No matter what happened, I would keep praying, keep hoping, keep fighting. Because my son was out there somewhere, and I would not rest until he was back in my arms.
“Please,” I whispered again to the Moon Goddess, “bring him back to me.” And with that final plea, I let the tears come, pouring out all my fear and pain into the night, hoping against hope that my prayer would be answered.
