"Look at yourselves," Jasmine continued, her gaze sweeping the room. "Fighting amongst yourselves while your real enemies gather strength. Is this how you honor Don Cesaro's memory?"
Lorenzo scoffed. "And what would you know about our family, outsider?"
Jasmine met his gaze unflinchingly. "I know that strength comes from unity, not division. I know that Don Cesaro built this family on loyalty and respect, not petty power struggles."
She turned to address the whole room. "Every one of you is afraid. Afraid of change, afraid of the unknown. But tearing each other apart won't solve anything. It will only make you weaker."
Her words seemed to resonate, the tension in the room noticeably decreasing. Even Lorenzo looked slightly abashed.
Marco stepped forward, placing a hand on Jasmine's shoulder. "My wife is right. We can't afford to be divided. Not now, not ever."
