CHAPTER FIVE HUNDRED AND FIFTY – MARCO’S POLICY
In an instant, the warehouse erupted into chaos. Lights blazed on, blinding the intruders as Marco's men surrounded them. Shots rang out, but it was over quickly. The Moretti soldiers, caught completely off guard, were quickly subdued.
Antonio, realizing he was trapped, made a desperate break for the exit. Without hesitation, Jasmine stepped into his path, her gun trained steadily on his chest.
"Don't move," she said, her voice firm despite the adrenaline coursing through her veins.
Antonio froze, his eyes wide with fear and disbelief. "Jasmine? I... I can explain..."
"Save it," Marco's voice cut through the air as he approached, his own weapon drawn. "You've betrayed this family for the last time, Antonio."
The former lieutenant's shoulders slumped in defeat. "The Morettis offered me a way out," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "A chance at a normal life, away from all this."
