CHAPTER TWO HUNDRED AND SEVENTY SEVEN – DANCE OFF
As the bus rolled into a small town for a scheduled break, Emily nudged Jasmine awake. "Hey, sleepyhead. Let's stretch our legs for a bit."
Jasmine yawned, blinking away the remnants of her impromptu nap. "How long do we have?"
"About 30 minutes," Emily replied, already halfway down the aisle.
They stepped off the bus into the warm evening air. The town, though small, was bustling with activity. A colorful sign caught Emily's eye: "NIGHT FLEA MARKET - TREASURES AWAIT!"
Emily's face lit up. "Ooh, Jas! We have to check this out!"
Jasmine glanced at her watch. "I don't know, Em. We don't want to miss the bus..."
But Emily was already tugging her towards the market. "Just a quick look, I promise!"
The flea market was a maze of stalls selling everything from antique jewelry to handmade crafts. Emily flitted from booth to booth, exclaiming over vintage records and quirky artwork.
