When they reached their destination, Julien parked in the underground garage but didn't turn off the engine immediately. The soft blue light of the LED screen cast a gentle glow over his flawless face.
"Helen," he said, his voice calm, "I'm 33 years old."
"I know."
"How old are you?"
"23."
"I'm 10 years older than you."
The car's air conditioning was on, and Helen felt a slight chill, goosebumps forming on her arms. She stared straight ahead and replied, "That's not a problem."
After a beat, she added shyly, "Older men are more considerate."
Julien's smile deepened as he unbuckled his seatbelt. "Let's get out of the car."
