IRENE'S POV
As Leon and I gathered our core team in a secluded corner during the halftime break, I couldn't help but think of our second-place ranking. We were so close to overtaking the White Wolves, but the gap was still there. Miles’ pack, on the other hand, had dropped to the bottom of the rankings, but it wasn't something I wanted to dwell on.
"Alright," I began, trying to refocus everyone’s attention, "we’re in second place. Not bad, but not good enough. The White Wolves are still ahead, and they’re not going to make this easy for us."
Leon nodded beside me calmly. "The White Wolves are strong, no doubt about it," he said, "but their biggest strength is also their biggest weakness. They rely too heavily on raw power, and that can be exploited."
