Mason answered the phone. Jasmine's voice quickly came through. "Son, I heard from Jamie that you brought a lady to yesterday's gathering. What's this about? When did you bring her over?" In the afternoon, a few of the elderly ladies had gathered with their kids. They then overheard Jamie saying that Mason had brought a pretty lady over when they had lunch yesterday. Jamie said she really liked that lady. So, the elderly ladies had asked Jasmine if she liked the lady Mason brought home. Jasmine has been utterly confused by the question. What lady? Why didn't she know about this? Mason hadn't mentioned anything to her, and neither Naomi nor Bailey had said a word about it. So, she'd immediately called Mason.
