CHAPTER EIGHT
I walked into the building I had gotten so familiar with in a few months, my bag in hand as I adjusted my skirt before waving at the secretary downstairs.Some others greeted me while some ignored me like I didn't exist but I did the same to them.I had gotten so used to the look of envy now.
The envy in their eyes when they realized they have been in the company for so long yet haven't gotten a split of attention from the boss himself.
"I knew I'd be just in time to get into the elevator with you" I raised my head from staring at the files in my hand which I had collected from the secretary downstairs.
"Hi" my voice came out as a breathy whisper against my own will.
"Is something wrong? Your face is red" how won't something be wrong when a man who could be mistaken as a demigod was standing right in front of me.
"Yeah, I'm fine. Maybe it's the weather," I managed to choke out after staring for a while. Looking away, I couldn't help but choke on my own spit, and here comes the wheez
