Alison knew better than anyone that she had no other options.
When she looked over the documents in front of her, she couldn’t help but laugh. It was almost absurd.
The first page detailed why she had supposedly harmed Jenny and how she had deceived Mike Ayles. On the surface, it seemed like a summary of events, but in reality, it was designed to address all the accusations floating around on Twitter. Every sin was pinned on her, exonerating the White family from any blame.
Hearing her laugh, Brown, the lawyer, frowned slightly in displeasure.
"Miss Alison, we have substantial evidence that you orchestrated the attack on Miss Jenny. Whether you admit it or not makes little difference. You’re looking at prison time unless you cooperate. Furthermore, you should think carefully about Jane Lane and young Lucas."
