CHAPTER HUNDRED AND TWENTY-SEVEN TIME-STOPPER

JADE’S POV On the way to his house, we had cleared up a couple of things, like the fact that he was also looking for me immediately after the game and was coming from the cafe as well, probably after I had left. I also asked if I could still meet his friends tomorrow, and he said he would love to, adding that they're really nice. I hope so, but I wouldn't be too annoyed if they weren't since he had brought them to meet me, but I was rude to them by walking away. I wonder what they must think of me. I asked him how he got so good at playing sports since he didn't seem like the type, and he explained to me that his father is a fitness coach, so he had to help him a lot with things like this, so he ultimately got interested in sports and exercise. This also clarifies a number of other issues, as I didn't anticipate he would pursue sports independently; instead, he required a close relationship with someone to motivate him. I also divulge that I'm happy I didn't get to play at the en
