Evie's POV
"I don't like them." I huffed and crossed my arms over my chest childishly. I was still sitting on Luke's lap. He wouldn't let me go when I tried to go back to my place.
"Again, why? They never wronged you." Luke retorted.
He was trying to convince me that cats are cute and that there's no way in hell a person dislikes them, that person, of course, being me.
You might think it's weird, but really, I don't like them at all. I would easily feel annoyed for some reason that I can't even explain, and most cats are clingy.
"So? I just don't like them. Why do you like them so much?" I replied.
"Well, they're cute."
"You already said that a thousand times."
"Because they are," Luke replied in a duh tone.
I narrowed my eyes at him, and he narrowed them back.
"Choose then, cats or me?" I asked with a huff.
"What?! Where did that come from?" Luke asked as his eyes widened. I tried so hard to stop myself from laughing at his reaction.
