Chapter 629
After dinner, Zelda felt her head grow unbearably heavy and went to bed early.
When she woke up again, she realized the surroundings had changed.
Zelda sat up abruptly, her eyes scanning the room. The once dim and somber room was now painted in soft blue and pink tones, decorated like a princess' chamber.
She had been moved. No wonder she felt groggy the previous night—it turned out they had drugged her.
Zelda's expression darkened as she thought, "Damn it! I didn't expect them to be this cautious."
She rubbed her temples, still feeling the lingering effects of the drug. Her head throbbed uncomfortably.
A series of knocks echoed from the door. Zelda closed her eyes briefly, her weariness evident as she said hoarsely, "Come in."
A young woman, likely in her early 20s, entered the room. She had a pleasant appearance and carried a tray of breakfast. Upon seeing Zelda sitting on the bed, she approached with a bright smile. "Gorgon asked me to bring you breakfast. Go ahead and eat."
