It was Richard's perfume. Wynnie rubbed against my chest, and her voice was gentler than usual. "What are we eating tonight?" She let go of me and removed her jacket. "I've been thinking about the food you made when I was out. I couldn't wait to come home as soon as I got off work!" I was amused by how she acted as though nothing had happened. "I'm preparing your favorite dishes. Hold on. I'll be done soon." I didn't look at Wynnie's face and swiftly entered the kitchen. I was avoiding her. I was afraid of falling into the "trap" she had specially set up. She was the woman I loved the most. I was afraid that I would still expect something from her. Wynnie seemed to have noticed my reaction. She had never gone close to the kitchen, but she changed into her casual outfit and stood at the kitchen door, watching me. "Sebastian, you're avoiding me." I was forced to face my fear. I forced a smile and turned around to look at her. "Don't overthink. It's oily here, so wait for
