Chapter 15

Professor winfield says that her father was a good person and loved her mother the most in the world. he gets up to get a photo album to show Tiffany the first day that her parents met, which was at a dance competition. Turns out that Alonzo's dance partner didn't show up and with no other choice, he was going to forfeit the competition. That's when lavinia shows up, walking towards them. She apologizes for her friend who had something urgent came up and sent her in her place. They exchange brief greetings and practice for a little before the dance. The two slightly awkward with one another as lavinia can't really dance. In the end they decide to take a break before the competition and they get to know each other a bit better. Lavinia comments on Alonzo's nervousness and tells him that she thinks it's better if they enjoy the music and feel the rhythm.
