Chapter 41 "Please don't hurt me"

Jake P.O.V. In the truck... I am sitting in the front of the seat staring out the window worried about what is going to happen once Avery finds out we are her mate. Will she accept us or reject us forever? I let out a breath I didn t know I was holding in. But I do know I love this girl and I am going to do the best I can do to make her fall in love with me. What if. No, I thought withholding my chest because I feel like I am going to die. I need her Avery in my life. If I must wait until she can trust us again, so be it. I do anything for her. I would die for her if that s what she wants me to do. But I hope she doesn t want that. I thought to my mind.
